Meet Michelle :)
Michelle, President & Founder of Nature’s Alignment, has spent over a decade in the fitness and wellness industry. She earned her Bachelor of Science from California State University East Bay, specializing in Kinesiology, exercise, nutrition, and wellness. During her time at CSUEB, she played on the Women’s Soccer Team and still holds individual program records for assists as a center midfielder. Michelle also competed with the San Francisco Nighthawks Women’s Soccer Club from 2010–2014, a founding member of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), the second tier of women’s soccer in the U.S. and Canada.
She continued her professional development through the American College of Sports Medicine, becoming a Certified Exercise Physiologist, and is trained in Merrithew STOTT Pilates. Michelle went on to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University and currently serves as a Pre‑Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Colorado, and Washington state. She is also pursuing her PhD in Parapsychology at the California Institute for Human Science, expanding her work into consciousness, healing, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
Through Nature’s Alignment, Michelle’s mission is to co‑facilitate healing, evolution, and growth for individuals seeking support for their mental, physical, and spiritual well‑being. Her intention is to create a space that offers resources, fosters connection, to self, community, and source; and empowers individuals to discover the answers that already live within them.
Nature’s Alignment approaches healing holistically, integrating physical therapy; based movement principles with psychotherapeutic insight to support the whole person. We understand the importance of safe, effective, and evidence‑informed wellness programs. By observing and studying human movement, behavior, and patterns, we design personalized programs that meet each individual exactly where they are.
Meet Lore :)
Lore brings over two decades of movement experience to her teaching, having practiced Pilates since 1999 and taught professionally since 2001. She is extensively trained across the full Pilates repertoire; including Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel, giving her the ability to work skillfully with a wide range of bodies, goals, and abilities. Lore’s movement foundation is also deeply rooted in ballet, which she has practiced since 1995, adding grace, precision, and embodied awareness to her approach.
In addition to her Pilates and Feldenkrais practice, Lore teaches human anatomy and physiology labs at the college level. This academic background enriches her teaching with a strong understanding of biomechanics, neuromuscular function, and the science of movement. Her rehabilitation‑focused work is grounded in PhysicalMind Institute Pilates protocols, with training completed in New York City. These methods, combined with her experience in Ballet, Pilates, and Feldenkrais, shape a teaching philosophy that is both highly informed and deeply intuitive.
Lore meets each student exactly where they are, adapting her methods to support individual needs, learning styles, and physical abilities. She genuinely enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a welcoming environment where students can explore movement, build strength, and reconnect with their bodies.
